RE: Tracks recorded at different Rates?

I need my drum loop to play at 75% its normal rate. The
song is slow, and need to play guitar to a slow drum track.
When I restore from saved the drum track always plays at
75%, exactly like I need it to. My problem is this: When
I create a new track to recod my guitar and hit the record
button to play guitar along with the drum track, the rate
automatically jumps up to 100%, changing the drum speed to
a tempo that is too fast. Is there a way to "lock" the
tempo of the drum tack, or to record the whole project
slower? Please help, am stuck right in the middle of a big
project...
thanks

I take it you are using the rate control and setting it to 75%? This
tool is for scrubbing and not meant as a performance type control. We
always record at 100% and during recording we force playback to 100%.

Vegas does not have any tempo matching tools. What you might try is
to edit the drum track in Forge and its duration tool. This way you
can change it with out changing the pitch.
