re: web render

i am shooting a video project for a friends tennis website tommorrow--let's hope it doesn't rain
anyway, he wants me to shoot and edit a few clips (45 seconds to two minutes) on various tennis strokes...serve, forehand, backhand, volley etc.
i intend to shoot it and edit it in vv3
1) how should i render it so i can email it to his webmaster?
2) what is the render (or format) of choice for the web?
3) should each clip only be 1 minute in duration -- i'm thinking of the download time for his customers
thanks to all who respond and if you play tennis i'll email you a copy -- if it turns out any good :)

You probably aren't going to want to email these, but rather post them on the web and email links to the files. As far as format goes, I think Real is the best, but Win Media Player/Quicktime are the most universal.

You might want to give people an option to download or just stream.

For streaming, you'll get the best results if you can lock down the camera on a tripod instead of handheld shooting. The moving background will consume bits that could be better spent on the subject. As always, good lighting, good framing, good sound -- all very important.

For a Tennis tutorial, velocity envelopes or Ctrl+edge drag to slow down the clips could be very useful. Make sure to turn on the Resample switch for best rendering results.
