I submitted this to support a week ago via email but have heard nothing back.
When trying to write anything to my C: drive via VMS Platinum 9.0 (creating a project, rendering, whatever), and selecting a newly created or existing folder, the error 'Read only or invalid path. Please correct it" is displayed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the C: drive - all other apps are fine. I can write to my external Firewire drive.
I see multiple references to this via Google so I am not the only one experiencing this.
Why in the world can VMS not write to my C: drive? I had no problems ever with 7.0. Just recently upgraded to 9.0 and now both 7.0 and 9.0 exhibit this behavior.
Thanks,
Todd
