I'm up to Vegas Pro 10 ... (not a professional in this field .. can't afford to upgrade every time ... and .. now I'm retired .. money is even tighter)
While most here see little use for Real Player output in Vegas, I use it all the time. It works for me.
When Pro 10 came out I had no problem rendering out to Real Player ... until the first update ... then Vegas would crash when I selected Real Player from the menu (even before I tried to render)
I then had to resort to using Vegas Pro 9 for these projects.
A few days ago I got the original Pro 10 download, unistalled whatever update I had on my computer and installed the original version in the hope of using 10 for these projects (just because it is newest I have .. not for any feature 10 has that 9 does not)
Well ... now ... even the original version of 10 does not work ... yet 9 still works fine.
I'm curious ... if anyone can tell me if 11 or 12 will render to Real Player? (for future info ... if I get some $$$)
And I realize that this may be a problem unique to my machine.
