really annoying issue where overlayed track cannot move

when editing track motion, even though showing a picture in the timeline as being able to move, on the actual video the overlaid picture stays in exactly the same position. you can see in the pictures attach at the start and ten seconds later it is shown to be in different places, but sony vegas only takes note of the second position, where it is slanted 45 degrees, for the whole way through. if i delete this second position, it resets to the original position again, so it will only let me do one or the other and not let it transition between the two. any help appreciated. cheers

In the first picture you have the Drop shadow active, not the motion control.

now nothing appears at all on the preview. the time on both timelines match. the black thing should be covering at least part of the logo

From the screen shot you are still moving the Shadow. Click the position tab right above 2d Shadow

i have done this and it makes no difference even on a new project. plus, trying to even open track motion doesnt work at all now. random things keep breaking in vegas. any more ideas?

Cheers, guys. It is working now but I had to restart my computer twice. Next time I think that will be my go-to.
