Here's mistake you don't want to make.....it can lead to some serious headbanging, and self ass-kicking ( if you are limber enough)
I've had my computer "rendering" about 25 min. of a simple video going from CFDIs to m2ts for "Printing to Tape"
Its been rendering for 4 hours. It was showing 99% complete and just about ready to start the camera to print....
Only I had a last minute thought to run the blank tape forward a couple of seconds to create an easy to find area between the first half of the tape and this second part. The minute I moved the camera button I got an error code from Vegas and everything stopped.
Oh, but wait .... thats not the worst part!
I had the little box checked (I think it may be the default setting) to "'delete' files after print...."
I can't find those files anywhere even though I never got to the "print" part of this process. I believe with one stupid click I managed to wipe out a 4 hour render....
Don't let this happen to you !!! OUch....
