RealMedia render question?

I have a 50 second video that I render using the RealMedia Template - 3Mbps Video. I modified the template to render at 720 x 480 (instead of the default 640 x 480). During the render if I watch the preview window I see my project being rendered "twice". When the progress bar reaches 50% I see my last frame in the preview window, then the first frame appears again and the render appears to proceed a second time. However, the final *.rm file that is created looks fine. Why does my video appear to render twice in the preview window?

Never mind. I just noticed that on the Video tab I have the "Enable 2-Pass Encoding" box checked. I assume that this is why I see the render being done twice in the preview window.
