RealPlayer V8.0

I upgraded to Vegas V5.0 and love the improvments!

One small issue, our corporate standard player is RealPlayer V8.0 and Vegas V5.0 will only output in Realplayer V9.0.

Anyway to work around this? I looked in the knowledge base and this forum and didn't find any similar issue.

Suggest corporate change to anything but Real Player

You can render to older RealMedia codecs by creating custom templates. Start with a template that is close to what you want (frame size, bitrate, etc.). Go to the Audiences page and click the Edit button. You can change the audio and/or video codec there. Be sure to save the template (give it a new name and update the desciription) so you can use it again later.

Thanks, it took a minute to understand I needed to change the template and then get to the other players.
