I'm trying to get a 5.1 mix on my sound, and I can't figure out why the surround panner gives so much volume to the rear speakers. When I move the blip to the front right speaker I get pretty much all the sound coming from the rear right speaker and basically no volume from the front one. I basically only seem to have seperation from right to left, not front to back. Is there anyone out there who knows how to fix this??
I do know my speakers are hooked up correctly because I can run a "test tone" on them and they are all correct. I also know the volumes are fine - it is something with Vegas. Even if I turn off the rear speakers in Vegas in the surround panner I STILL get them on and the only way to turn them off is from within my sound card settings.
Any info would be of much help. Thanks.
