Been a year since I had to reinstall my VEgas 9.0. But it's default settings have the whole time line tracks at the bottom and the rest on top.

I prefer my time tracks on the top right half section, my preview box and pan and scan on the bottom right, and explorer and video effects on bottom left. It's hard to rarrange them to movie them. Like I said, the defaults are all upside down. It's tough knowing where to click on each thing to seperate it and move it to another spot to drop in.
