Recommended video capture cards to use w/ Vegas Video

Hello,

I'm new to all this stuff but am very interested in getting
some cool video and audio work done. Vegas Video seems to be
just the software package I am looking for with multitrack
video and audio. But I was wondering if there are any
recommended video capture cards to use with Vegas Video? I'm
interested in both analog and DV capture to AVI format.

Thanks,

Jason

Vegas functions very well with OHCI-compliant IEEE-1394 DV boards,
and the good news is that there are quite a few of these available
for less than $100. Even better is the fact that you will not need to
install ANY new drivers- we talk directly to the drivers built into
98SE and Win 2K.

For analog capture you might think of recording your analog output
onto your DV camera/deck and capturing from there. You'll have DV
footage at that point, playback will be faster/smoother. Cheap
solution, works great.
