Hello,
I'm primarily an audio professional using Vegas Pro to make music and audio production tutorial videos. I was a user of Vegas 1.0, back when it was audio-only, and the workflow is just as I remembered.
Vegas capture was a big selling point for me, however there's one major drawback. Capture is producing audio files that have been compressed with a lossy AAC codec. These files are going to be placed into a project where they'll be subjected to a lossy codec a second time upon rendering the final video file, which will produce far from optimal results.
I'm wondering if there's any way to get Capture to record standard uncompressed wave or aiff audio instead?
Thanks in advance,
Matt Starling
