Recording and getting track bouncing

Recording and getting track bouncing, like when I play back the guitar track I can hear the drumtrack on the same track. And after awhile there will be all 5 tracks recorded on one which gets muddy. I have a delta 1010, this problem also happens in Acid, the only thing to do is mute the track before I record but then I have nothing to play to which isn't very inspiring. Thanks

Don't select Mon/mixer as your recording input. Select Delta 1/2 etc. or Delta L etc. Either you are recording the playback through the Delta Mon/mixer or if you are recording through an external mixer you need to isolate the signal in the channel you want to record from the other channels by sending the direct out, Aux out etc. of that channel only to the soundcard.
