I am trying to capture music from my casette tapes. I plugged in the cable from the casette player to the sound card line in. I played the casette player and I could hear the music. I opened up Veags 4e and inserted an audio track. I clicked on the Arm for record and the Record (Ctrl-r) button. Nothing happens.

However, when I connect my microphone to the sound card, then I can record.

Is there a way for Vegas 4e to record from the sound card line in without the microphone?

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks....
