Recovering Audio Studio 10

Reginald-Campbell wrote on 12/16/2025, 9:24 AM

I had to restore my hard drive from scratch (Windows 10 Issues). I have an Intel I7 950 3.06 GHZ. Audio Studio 10 is still part of my workflow, I don't want to upgrade, just continue with what I have. My registered copy is in my account along with my email address. Can you please send my activation code as it will not generate nor self-generate one. I've tried using various computer ID's, product ID's, looking in my BIOS for ID's, the term "Computer ID" seems vague after not finding a solution. I notice others have had this issue, even with that I haven't found a definitive "go to" as I still have this problem. Please just send my activation code. It should not be this hard.

@Reginald-Campbell  ... I assume that you are following the procedure outlined in https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/activation-of-sony-creative-software-era-applications--149297/ about how to register/activate Sony era programs.

Re the activation/computer ID issue, I wrote the following in this thread about 2 weeks ago about my experience in registering/activating VP13:

  • After entering the serial number in Sony Audio Studio 10's registration/activation window, keep proceeding with that window and it should create and display a computer ID in a new window. I did the procedure about 4 months ago with Sony Vegas Pro 13 and, unfortunately, I can't remember the exact trick to get to the Computer ID window to display - it may have been to keep pressing the Next (or similar) button or to go through the entire registration process again and then keep pressing whatever button it is after the serial number has been entered. Sorry that I can't be more specific about this.

The OP must have found this successful because the comment was marked as The Solution. I hope that it works for you.
