Red background on audio track?

does anyone know what the red background on the audio track means? it doesn't seem to be causing any problems but i'd just like to know what it is. thanks

This means the audio event shifted out of synch to the corresponding video event.

thank you. could it mean I just un-grouped the video from the audio but didn't actually shift it?

i did ungroup them because I wanted to extend the video more, to fade into the previous clip more than the audio, but I did not actually shift them out of sync (as far as I know). thanks again
