Red bleed

Greetings, all,
I have footage that can't be re-shot. It is Digital8 and has the famous red-bleed to the right of every red object. What do you guys do to improve this, besides reshoot with a 3-CCD cam?

Try to reduce the reds using the color correctors, if that doesn't work, convert the clip to B&W.

A proc amp with Y/C timing adjustment can go a long way to correct this. Off hand, I cannot think of an equivelent in Vegas.
