just tried it again, even made multiple "bubbles" today & then move them around, exited the picture, opened back up, deleted red eye.

That is quite interesting, I also tried it again, as outlined above on various pics on the time line. Create the box arounf the eye, click delete and NO changes, red still there. Its a mystery to me??

OK, I just figured it out. My first time using red eye removal, and in readiung the Help section I made the box around the red eye, then selected delete. ( I thought that to mean delete the red eye)
You got to keep the box there and close (do not delete), then it removes the red eye from that section.
