I accidentally stumbled upon a small discovery. If you copy your redplug folder from FileIO plugins from 14 and paste it into the same place in the 13 folder, you get the new RED dragon/weapon support. Not sure if that helps anyone but I thought I'd share. Also note that not all red color and gammas are supported even with the new 14 update.
