REDcolor/DRAGONcolor - RED camera color space missing

HeavyMetal wrote on 1/9/2018, 12:56 AM

I had read multiple times that REDcolor beyond 1 & 2 had been added to Vegas Pro 15 (REDcolor4, or DRAGONcolor2, for example). I bought the upgrade specifically for this fact alone, I upgraded & loaded up Vegas 15 build 261 a few minutes ago to find this is not the case, or I am missing something. Any help would be appreciated! RED .r3d clips dropped on the timeline still exhibit vastly different color treatment than the native clip, as they did previously in 14.

The VEGAS Pro 15 build 311 release notes state "Updated support for RED Epic Dragon, Raven, Scarlet, and Weapon files". If you try it, please let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the heads up. The color issue is now fixed! Now that the new patch is on, when working with a red clip, you need to get into the File Format Properties of each clip and select Factory Default on the bottom, not sure if theres a way to default that or not.
