Hi All,
I'm finishing up a giant project and it's already a few days overdue-
my problem comes in when i pick reduce interlace flicker in dvd-A
it go's from 3gig to 5.5 and if i use the optomize option the disc
freezes up and has glitches-
I rendered each part in vegas with reduce interlace flicker because this has been a big issue before -
So my question is will it make any difference if I use it again in dvd-A

I am really stuck and it takes hors to make the disc ,so any help soon would be great, and so------ apreciated

Personally, I find that I get great results with photos when I render from Vegas with reduce interlace flicker and the video quality set to Best. And of course I used the DVD Arch template. I don't do anything special in DVDA other than create any needed menus.

The reduce interlace option in DVDA only affects the menus. It is meant to be used when you have a still image as the menu background and you are seeing it flicker due to interlacing. It should have no affect on the actual movie and it shouldn't increase the size of the DVD at all.

Are you using DVDA 3.0c? I am not seeing this behavior. I would contact Sony because it is not what is supposed to happen.
