What format are the source clips?
Usually what folks do is render them out as a single new clip.

What i want to do is reduce the time of each clip, but instead of doing each clip individually I want to reduce them all in one go. If i highlight all the clip is there a way of doing this?

Paul, I use a script for this. I know both Excalibur and Ultimate S can easily do this. If you search, you may find a free one that will as well.

Alternately, you might try selecting the first one, hold down shift and select the last one, press "G" to group them, and then hold down CTRL and resize the list one. They should all resize proportionally.

what do you mean by resize the list one?
I didn't find anything different than the first one resizing.
I have always wondered if this was possible. I'll look for the scripts.

Hold down the CTRL key, move the mouse to the end of the clip, click and drag left like you're resizing in smaller.

If they are video clips then this will speed them all up to run faster.
