Reference Library???

I just got the $99 B&H Photo v6 deal on Vegas. I know it does not come with any of the "extra" software (like Boris) but I see that it did install a 412MB file for "Sony sound series loops and samples reference library". I get the impression that there is an extra CD that you get with the full version that has the loops and samples on it. Is that correct?

My question boils down to this, does the "sony sound series loops and samples reference library" do me any good with the bare bones version I got? If so, how do I use it? I would like to keep my HD as clean as possible and this seems like a large file to keep around if its not doing me any good. But if it has a function I can use, I would like to know what it is.

Thanks.

The "reference Library" works with the Vegas Media Manager. If you have/use Sony Loops and Sound Effects, the reference library makes it easier to search and find that material. Sony took the time to 'tag" all their content to work faster/easier with the V6 MM.
