Regional Gain Suggestion

Often I find myself wanting to bring a couple of clips up by the same amount. It would be awesome if I could do this with regional gain.
As it stands right now I have to normalize them both and then bring them down together which upsets the balance of the unaffected tracks.

It would be awesome if regional gain started in the center of a clip and you could drag it up to the point of normalization and drag it down to the 0. It would also be awesome to be able to make envelopes within individual clips. I often find that moving tracks around the timeline (even while locking envelope information to events) screws me up.

What do you guys think?

being able to add gain instead of only being able to take it away would be very handy.

Nuendo lets users add up to 6dB of gain on any particular clip

I get by with the way locking envelopes works now, you just need to remember to put an extra point at the beginning and the end of the clip because the points only lock when they're within a clip.
