Regions import

Hello all,
How come whenever I import an audio file (.wav format), which has been saved with regions into CDA 5.2, there are small gaps between the regions.

Whenever I zoom in, the gaps are very short, but noticable. I have to zoom in on every track and then close the gaps by dragging the audio, up to the beginning of each file.

Is there a better way to do this?

Is this a minor bug?

Am I creating tracked CD's in a way which imports this problem?

Thanks -
Kevin

I had the same problem. Then I figured out the following:

1. Open Media...
2. Check "Add to timeline"
3. Check "Create tracks"
4. Check "Create tracks from media regions"

No more gaps. Hope this helps.

Thanks -- Problem solved...

But why does that happen when I use the other method?

Just curious

in the preferences menu, you can set the default time inbetween tracks. Mine is 0.00s
