Not sure where things went wrong but I put in my key when I installed the product and then it all shows red x's across the screen on any BCC FX, tried doing registration from inside the snap in window and reset the software and still red x's.
Can you be more specific? Which plugin? Did you install all the BorisFX Continuum plugins?

Do you mean full BCC plugin which worth $695.
If you installed the entire Continuum, of course almost of the plugins will have the "X". You didn't pay for them. Now if you have BCC Optical Diffusion, it should be displayable without the "X", but the current way Vegas displays Video FX tab, it might be hard to find, since Diffusion is several plugins that in past versions of Vegas, were neatly tucked in a folder you could expand.
I'm not sure what I got, whatever came with the Vegas Pro Suite. My order says I have:

Boris FX Sapphire 2020 Render Unit
If these are not ALL of those, then thats fine I just want to activate what I have paid for and then remove what is not paid for, if at all possible.
I see the error of my ways boys and girls. I was up for like 40 hours when I tried to install everything. I had to run the installer 3 times to register 3 keys for the first 3, and then find the sapphire render download and give it it's key and make sure that i uninstall unregistered products from the installer. sheesh
glad you figured it out. It's not easy, but I think the info they send does say that from Boris IIRC.
But yeah, there is a little "hoop" jumping to get it installed.
