I'm not exactly sure where I should write to about this, but I thought here might be a good place to post my question.
Just yesterday I bought a new computer system for the recording studio in my backyard. A 1.4ghz Athlon which I've put together myself. The old computer it's replacing was a PII 400. I had Vegas Video set up on that machine. I also have it set up on the laptop here which I created my music video on, and another machine I use for 3d and video also.
Here's the problem. I've tried to register Vegas Video on the new machine in the studio, but can't do so since I got a message telling me I can't register it on any other machines. So I'm assuming there's a 3 machine limit? I've managed to register Sound Forge, Batch Converter and Acid Pro alright though. But I don't have those installed on the machine I use for 3d and video which would probably explain why those worked.
So essentially I'm wondering if there's any way I could get Vegas Video registered on my new machine? I really need it on there, as most of my clients still prefer using it for multi track work. If it's any consolation, I'll no longer be using it on the old PII 400. The main reason for getting the new machine, was that there'd always be problems using too many plugins on the old machine.
