reinstalling says download was corrupted... from CD

Hi, we had to have the computer wiped and now we are trying to reinstall from the disc. It acts like all is well, and then it says "download was corrupted". We do not want to have to purchase another one... any help would be appreciated. Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0, need to install on my HP all in one computer purchased in February 2017. Thanks!

Read this thread and see if you can download a trial copy. As long as you have your license code, you are all set. I also recall (it may be applicable here as it was a few years ago), that you may be able to copy the contents of your disc onto your hard drive and install it from there.
