I will only say this much... VCS is well aware of the desire for users to collaborate (I know because I've made a few recommendations to the team about it myself.). I personally don't think they plan on keeping Vegas in the "one man shop" arena for too long. No telling when or if those desires will manifest, but I do know they are aware of them.

I think on a business perspective for vegas it would create an additional channel of revenue especially if we have a workspace we can use with a slow internet connection.

Slow internet and video don't mix well, unfortunately. You could still do things like project syncing, where it just polls the other machine you connected to in order to see where the edits are, but if you're going to do some of the more advanced features I requested of them, it will require a beefy connection (gigabit recommended). Fortunately, gigabit internet rollout is faster than ever now (and cheap, I'm paying $50/month for 1000mbps up and down), so before long many of us will have that at our disposal.
