Tell your camera to not stamp the date on the videos. In-Editor, use the cookie cutter to remove it.

I'm new with Vegas and can't locate cookie cutter. By Editor do you mean Tools,Preferences, Editing tab?,

In-editor, means "Vegas" in general. Cookie Cutter is a plugin of Vegas. You know how to load plugins on various clips in the timeline, right?

At the end of each clip is an Event Pan/Crop button and an Event FX button. Click on the Event FX button and then click on Sony Cookie Cutter, to use the cookie cutter, although that will leave a big hole in your video unless you have something to play behind it.

If the date stamp is near a corner, you could click on Event Pan/Crop and Crop it out of the scene.
