Removing Empty Excess Space at Beginning of Projec

Hello Sony Vegasonians :)

Question: I needed a few seconds of "time" inserted at the beginning of a project; which I figured how to do. But now I have too much time .. is there a way to subtract the excess amount? I only see an insert option. I would just highlight everything and drag it all to the left; but I also have some composite levels on a few video clips that don't seem to be moving along when i drag eveything ... they just stay where they are. If there is a way to lock these in that would be some great advice and would solve this problem. Thank you very much for any info regarding this ...

PS I'm running Movie Studio 10

Steve ..

Turn ripple on, select the time length you wish to eliminate (by dragging the cursor), and press Delete.

hello, is it possible to lock the composite levels I've set for specific video clips and move the level settings with the clip when I drag them across the timeline? Thanks!
