I've seen several useful discussions on ways to eliminate gaps in project using various techniques such as ripple, using ungrouping function, etc. I tried these suggestions but they don't seem to work for what I'm trying to do.
I'm nearly done with my first project (new user) and want to close a gap at the 5 min. mark of an hour project WITHOUT modifying the audio track. When I attempt to close the gap on the video track it removes the audio segment as well. I want audio to stay as is. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I've tried ungrouping, and all such functions. Thank you in advance for response.
Finally, what I did was "cut" the audio track, edit out the gap between two video segments, and then "pasted" audio track back into position. There must be an easier way?
