Removing transitions in Studio 6

How are transitions removed from the Video Overlay in Movie Studio 6. I found some references in the forums and these mention clicking on the black box in the transition for the delete button. There are no little black boxes.

Any ideas please. Thanks.

If I remember correctly, previous versions of MovieStudio had a little box in the center of the transition. I guess now, to have no transition, you need no overlap. Or maybe I'm not understanding the question.

I realise what's happened now. Somehow I had changed the transition to a crossfade. I was really then trying to remove the crossfade thinking it was a transition. All I had to do was to remove the crossfade in the normal way by simply dragging.

I've just realised how I changed the transition to a crossfade. I right clicked on it and selected one of the crossfade shape options.
