Rename File??

From within Vegas 9.0a how does one rename a file in Explorer? I transfer the videos from the camera to a folder and they are named by the camera by the date/time - ie: 200908230805433. Once in Vegas I right click the file to open in the trimmer to see what it is and I want to rename it to: "Ld Vox-right side- verse 1" for example.. (doing music videos of our songs).. When I try to remane it, vegas tells me the file is in use.. I assume the Trimmer still has it? So I close the trimmer, left click another file then left click the previous file to select it, but I still get the 'file is in use' message when trying to rename it..

I've looked thru the manual to no avail - likely something simple, but I'm missing it.. Appreciate any help - thanks!

You can rename them in the Project Media bins. Just right-click on the media and select Rename from the pop-up menu.

I have found this little utility to be priceless... come to think of it, it is free... but well worth a donation.
