Render 5K

Can I render 5K video with Vegas Pro 18.0 (527)? Specific resolution 5120x2160. I have looked through every render setting and it appears I cannot do it. But, i wanted to ask the community.

I was able to render 5120x2160 by modifying one of the apple prores render templates.

It's not the right aspect ration for VR...5120x 2060 would work.

Another way is to set your project properties to the desired frame size, then select a render codec which settings allow to adopt the render size to the project size which is valid for AVI, Voukoder and HOS (as separate tool).

Thanks but, 1) not looking for VR but proper desqueeze of 1.33 anamorpic. and 2) pro res has a rediculously large file size. Another editor (houses made of mud) offers it and is extremely clean. However, their stabilization is not 100% satisfactory where as Vegas locks it in.

Voukoder is free (well make a donation if you like it) and will render at your project resolution using x.264.

Vegas can render out any resolution up to 8K... And as RogerS pointed out to you, using Voukoder as your rendering output is the best option to date.
