First of all for web streaming you really shouldn't use AVI as your file type. For that short of a video you could probably get away with MPEG, but what I normally do is to use a Windows Media file and a Quicktime file to make both Mac and PC users happy.

Also you want the smallest size AND best looking....you're going to have to pick one becasue you'll have a he|| of a time getting both.

I'll try the MPEG. But getting back to avi files (and possibly others) there are a list of Codec's available when setting up the render. I noticed that some create smaller files than others. Do you know which produces the smallst file with the best quality?

The problem with the AVI codecs available is that most of them are very old and very poor. DivX is probably the best looking for the file size, but even those files tend to be rather large. Many viewers may also not be able to play DivX files without downloading additional software and this can be rather annoying. You'll get a much better looking video in fewer bytes with Wiindows Media. If people don't have the latest Windows Media codecs then the player will download them automatically.
