Render As isnt rendering nor showing the render tab

I have started using sony vegas and for some weird reason i click render as and it wont render and show the tab idk what to do

The last version of Sony Vegas Pro was version 13 released some 9 years ago. It may be that you are not waiting long enough for the Render As dialog to appear.

I'd try to reset VEGAS by holding down control and shift when double clicking the program icon to start it.

are your locators set properly?
ara you sure the render dialogue isn't hidden behind the GUI?
