Render as MP3 Vegas Pro 10

When I select "Render as" and choose MP3, Problem Report shows up saying "Vegas Pro has stopped working"and the app is forced to be closed.

Error message is as follow:

Has anyone encounterd this issue?

I also have Vegas Pro 8 (32bit version) installed and there is no problem rendering as MP3.

When I check the "mp3plug2.dll" file under FileIO Plug-Ins folder in Vegas Pro 10, the file size has only 905KB while the one in Vegas Pro 8 has 2.13MB. It looks to me that some data in the FileIO Plug-Ins is missing.

System Info:

Win 7 64bit
Intle Core i7 CPU 2.80GHz
8GB RAM

Maybe it's a 32 bit plugin?
Try running the 32 bit Vegas 10 and see if you get different behavior.

In any event, a good Lame frontend always beat the heck out of other mp3 encodes.

Since 32 bit Vegas Pro8 works fine, I don't think 32bit Vegas 10 gives me a problem. Besides, the data files for 64 bit and 32 bit are in a different path so it should not be a problem.

I have the exact mp3 crashing problem on 10b.
Been using 8c for all mp3 renders.
Good practice to keep the old version loaded when upgrading.

Running 64 bit 10.0c .. No problem rendering to MP3.
