I noticed this several times and it's really getting on my nerves. I will select a loop region and do a pre-render, usually in the same format I'm working, which normally is HDV, and when the rendering finishes I don't see the blue line over the ruler, and when I play it back it won't play as smoothly as it should because it hasn't been rendered.
So after checking that all the settings were correct and trying another pre-render with the same result, I closed Vegas, deleted all the pre-render files manually, opened Vegas again, did another pre-render with the same settings and it worked.
This has happened to me a few times on different projects in the last few days, and it seems to be regardless of format. One time it happened while editing AVCHD files, another time editing a SD Mpeg, and now it happened editing HDV. Since I was doing a pre-render on a credit roll with a glow effect applied to it I lost 15 minutes for nothing.
Has anyone else run into this bug?
