Hi!
New user to Vegas here... Merry Christmas to meee! Love it, very easy to use and edit with. However, when I go to render my video, there are just so many damn options! LOL
I'm using a GoPro Hero HD for video camera, saves in .mp4 with h.264 compression. I'm trying to figure out which render format to use for the BEST video to make a bluray disk. Full Bluray- burned on a BluRay disk (possibly even DL if needed)
I don't care about render times - I can set it up and walk away for a day if needed.
I've read online thru searches that MainConcept MPEG isthe way to go - but do I go BluRay 1080 (50, 60 or 24?) or HDV (again,50,60 or 24?) Yet other sites say AVC but then again there are choices... AVCHD (50,60or 24!) and Bluray (50,60 and 24). And I found out about the 'CUSTOM' button which gives even MORE options! lol
I'm making a small test clip of each to see, but that is going to take a long time to do them all. If someone can give some insight, I'd really appreciate it!I'd even be happy to post a small video segment so someone who actually knows something about rendering can see what I have and what might be my best option...
Thanks! Home videos just got a whole lot more fun... ;-)
