Render glitch on Vegas PRO 21

xyro wrote on 5/18/2024, 3:34 PM

When i render, it only renders a bit of the video, and then it keeps repeating the same clip until the loop area is fully rendered: This is an example.

This is a screen of my timeline after rendering, before rendering it looks still normal: https://imgur.com/a/qjqjKwb
This are my project settings: https://imgur.com/a/ufplaOE
This are my render settings: https://imgur.com/a/KA9tcoE

These are my specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960
Memory: 8,0 GB DDR3
Disk 0 (C: D:) Kingfast This is the disc the video is getting rendered on, the video should be 400+/- mb and it has still 53gb left.
Disk 1 (E:) WDC WD10EZ-22BNA0
Motherboard: MSI NIGHTBLADE B85C

@Gid thank you, maybe do you know a solution for this problem?

jetdv wrote on 5/19/2024, 7:29 AM

@xyro, personally, I don't know if I know a solution to your problem as the images are not here, they are on another site that I am not going to go to. That's what @Gid was telling you. Put the pictures here so that people will see them instead of on another site which many will not want to go to.

The first and last screenshot don't match. The project settings say the project is 60p but the timeline screenshot says 60i (interlaced). Make sure it isn't interlaced.

The green screen indicates VEGAS can't decode your media. Can you share Mediainfo for it? https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

As a workaround you could try re-encoding it with ShutterEncoder and replace the file in VEGAS.

It's Progressive, not interlaced.

RogerS wrote on 5/19/2024, 7:46 PM

The project needs to also be set to progressive.

xyro wrote on 5/28/2024, 4:11 PM

still not solved

Did you try reencoding the source clip?

Does rendering as Mainconcept instead of NVENC help?
