Render Issue

Project won't render.
Opening sequence has Black Restore FX..
I have what I think is a beefy computer, but it can't render this.
Earlier version with B&W FX renders OK.
Something with Black Restore.
Work arounds?

I experienced this once. In my case it was just after Vegas 11 had crashed. I re-started Vegas, loaded my project and tried to render it. It did nothing. I closed down Vegas and ran Windows Task Manager. Even though I had just shut down Vegas, there was still a Vegas remnant running; probably from the initial crash.

I used Task Manager to kill the process. I restarted Vegas, and everything worked fine after that.

Found Vegas running in Task Master.
Stopped it.
Vegas is chomping away again like a meat grinder on steroids.

I should also mention that I've seen a similar problem where Vegas will not load following a crash. The splash screen gets stuck saying "Creating File I/O manager".

Checking Task Manager showed a remnant copy of "FileIOSurrogate.exe" running. I killed the process and Vegas started up without a hiccup!

My celebration was premature.
Vegas 11 has crashed a number of times again when clicking render.
Crashes right off the top without fail now.
I thought the Black Restore FX was just too taxing for my $2000.00 recently built computer.
Seems it doesn't matter what's on the timeline now, it crashes.
I thought I was one of the lucky ones with almost flawless Vegas performance up until now.
Guess not.
Maddening!
I was hoping to deliver a rendered project this afternoon for client approval.
Pretty embarrassing.
Glad I am no longer a drinking man.
Have a couple for me Grazie!

I went back a few version and render went off flawlessly.
Opening clip has Sony B&W in this case.

Problem seems to stem from most current version in which Black Restoration FX and Sony Levels are applied.

Anyone else having issues with Black Restoration FX crashing Vegas during render?
