render on local network 2nd pc

can i render on local network 2nd pc while working on same VV project on main workstation?

I tried and its taking forever to even open the project

Yes, you can. However, if you've only got two machines, it's definitely going to slow down the host machine.

If you want ot render ONLY on the remote computer, do NOT check the "distributed rendering" box in the network render as dialog.
