Render ouput has lines in fast motion

I have read a few other posts about this, but none have helped. I just wanted to bring the topic back up in hopes someone can help me.

I record XBOX gameplay from a Hauppauge HD PVR and edit in VMS10Platinum. No matter what I try, fast motion renders out with lines all over in the video.

I have read to set project to Progressive. I have. I have read to set Deinterlacing to Blend. I have. I have exported in .WMV and .MP4 with various bit rates. I also set render output quality to Best in project properties. All with the same undesired results of lines in fast motion sequences. Moving to "Best" quality did help a little, but did not get rid of them. I even change Progressive and Deinterlace settings to others that are not recommended and still get lines.

I should also point out that I'm using Win7 64bit on a Mac (boot camp) with i7 & 8GB ram.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Try to set/export like this, it creates progressive outputs: http://eugenia.queru.com/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/

If this still doesn't work, it might mean that the PVR records in a progressive format, but with interlaced artifacts. In that case, you can't do anything, apart from finding another way to record from TV.

Thanks for the response. I tried everything on that link and still getting the lines. I suppose I can start playing around with the HD PVR software settings, but not sure what good that will do. The raw video looks perfect before I put it in VMS.
