I've tried both credit scrolls--the Vegas version and the Pro Titler version. When I render test clips the text scrolls, but it stutters or skips every so slightly as it moves up the screen.
Sure, seen this.
There's no simple fix for this apart from ensuring your scroll rate is an even number of pixels per frame if interlaced and an integer number of pixels per frame for progressive displays.
Better text generators may get around this by using subpixel antialiasing.
You could try using a small amount of vertical only guassian blur, might help.

I haven't the slightest idea of what you're talking about.
The fact is, I shouldn't have to worry about this. A scroll is a very common title requirement. If SCS is going to include a titler in Vegas, regardless of which one, it should work, period. From what I've seen in other programs, this isnto an issue for scrolling titles.
It worked perfectly in earlier versions of Vegas--pre-HD versions. Why can't it work in post-HD versions as well?

Adam Wilt can explain it better than me: http://www.adamwilt.com/Tidbits.html
About halfway down the page. This came up around V5 time, it's always been an issue with Vegas.
