render settings

I am 100+ hours frustrated now!!! I can't get my video to
render right. I did a test capture then played it back.
Ran fine audio and video. Then I open it in VV with no
edits. I then just hit render as and punch in the
duplicate settings and the video comes out choopy and the
audio is fine. Im stuck and I dont know what to try next.

Heres the specs:
1,000mhz machine
384 megs ram
150 gigs of 7200 rpm HD
jvc dvl-9500u mini-dv camera progressive scan
plain jane TI ohci firewire card

the project settings are:
template- ntsc dv
field order- none
pixel aspect ratio- .909
render quality- best

everything is the same in render settings tooI just don't
get it.

Hi Alex, after speaking with you about the 100% CPU usage
problems, I saw this thread. Besides updating your NVidia
display adapter driver, you'll want to make sure the render
settings have the Field order set to "lower field first".

Thansk!

Solution was updating his hard drive driver.
