render settings for e-mailable clip?

I have a six-minute video clip that I would like to e-mail, so ideally would like it to be less than 2mb in size.

Quality and screen size are secondary (but would still like it to be as good as possible). The recipient just needs to view the clip, and it needs to include audio.

Any suggestions on what format and settings to use would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'll restate my views on e-mail large files:

Render to whatever size you want, UPLOAD that your webserver, and then e-mail me a LINK. Don't force me to download a large e-mail. Give me the option of downloading at my leisure.

Now, I realize you're not sending it to me. But others may view things the same way.

I don't think you can do that and make it watchable. I daily make MPEGS and QTs at 500 bitrate, 30 second video and they come out right at 4 meg. 500 is very slow and is on the edge of being bad quality.

You would have to encode about 34Kbps video and 8kbps audio. You just might get away with this at a frame size of around 160x120 and have it almost visible. You won't like it though. It'll sound awful too.

Been using ArunaSend, a Yahoo widget.
100 MB limit at present but increasing to 2 GB in future.
Drawback is that the file is only available to recipient for 7 days.
I find this little gem conventient for sending clips to clients for approval.
Migh want to give it a try.
