Here's to hopin' Sony releases the update to work with the Decklink real time 10 bit cards soon! I don't own one but for 295$ I would pick one up since it would give me realtime analog playback from vegas and no or very low render times more like my storm card in premiere....I still wish my storm card could be used in vegas...Oh well...

I should just add that I don't want anyone chewing me out for suggestion vegas is not real time... as long as I have to render for my final output...it's NOT... I do appreciate very much that I do not have to render just to see what it might look like but I am hoping for more than that in real time!!

I'm just doing this render for myself, a 1 hour and 46 minute movie from one one of my old VCR tapes. I used the Movie Look filter and the the resolution filter to remove vidio noise and improve the look. First time I have done this. The record time is reading 87 hours +. It has been running for 24 hours and has only done 7% of the time line.

Vegas 5.0a, 233 FSB mobo, 1.5 Athlon XP, 1GIG DDR memory.

I have always known adding filters caused expanded render times and i thing ones like Movie Look will really bump it up.
