Render to PodCast

I need help in finding the best way to render an HD-30p V7 project out for playback in iTunes. I've tried some different combinations like render as an mp4 then exporting out of QT pro as an iPod movie. The results are always very blotchy. Any suggestions on working with HD content and mp4? Thanks.

just render it and use the MP4 ipod preset

i do LOADS of podcasts and this works fine.. remember that ipod resolution sux...
