Render to WebM

I have MS12 and have been asked to render in webm format.

Please can anyone say if this is possible with MS12 ? (I am sure it must be, but cannot find any mention of it).

Probably Vegas Studio doesn't come with the necessary codec already installed. You may be able to install a codec that would allow it though. I suggest you start reading here: http://www.webmproject.org/

I think ffmpeg is your best solution. Render an intermediate in Vegas.

The vfw VP8 codec that works in Vegas is slow, several years old, and is not being developed.
Free converters online have no controls.
Sorenson Squeeze is a $200 paid solution.
